My car is 25 for the first day of the season because they just assigned everybody a number starting from 1 as we teched in. After that on all other days I used my NHRA class 6C number, 609. Thats for street legal under ten seconds. The links are uncompressed 1920x1440 JPEG pictures of my timeslips. Each picture is four or five timeslips except May 23rd which has two picures of three timeslips each. They are just jpeg files with no HTML code, so use the back arrow to return to this page. The comments are referring to the picture linked below the comment. Way down below is the text listing of my timeslips, in the order I got them, and then sorted by 1/4 mile time. I missed the early season Bremerton days and a Pacific day because of weather. A couple of days were boderline and they actually had racing but I didn't go because of rain between me and the track. I have to drive to the track on drag radials and I already learned my lesson about drag radials and rain. As of June 28, 2025 I haven't gone to Bremerton this year because of weather, so my first five track days are all Pacific Raceways in Kent Wa.

For the first track day, May 9, weather was cool and good for drag racing. I forgot to turn off traction control on my first pass so I got a lousy burnout and run, but otherwise a pretty good day for me. They closed early so only five passes. I was car 25 on thish day, not 609. Timeslips show May 10 but really ir was Friday the 9th. The Pacific Raceways header lines at the top show the correct date. I think the actual run time of day was correct though, but the timing system was messed up showed the wrong date. They haven't corrected that date error in the timing system.

Test and tune at Pacific Friday, May 23, 2025. I got 6 runs in this day so the last three timeslips are on the second picture. The timeslips say May 24 on the time line, but the Pacific header lines show May 23 which was correct. I spun the tires pretty good on the first pass but did better after that. The second guy I raced was a parachute car and he was fast, 8.8. The next to last race I started pretty good but started to lose traction after 1000 foot mark so I had shut it down before the finish line. Spinning tires at 140 MPH is very scary. That was one of the scariest runs I've had because it lost traction at the very end and I was having a pretty good run up till then.

May 28 was a hot day at Pacific. I remember that day because I couldn't get any good runs because the car was heat soaked and the big engine with supercharger just couldn't cool down. The first two passes were 10.0 somethings but after that they they just got slower. I was so pissed off, I left before they closed the lanes. The third race was a single pass because the other guy had some issue. The last pass was single because others were leaving early too. There wasn't that many racers, probably because of the heat. Once again, the timeslips have the wrong date on the timeline, saying May 29, but really it was Wednesday, May 28, and this time the header lines say May 23 which is also wrong. I don't know what is going on with their timing system.

Wednesday, June 11, 2025 was the correct date but the time line says 12. Timing system date is still not fixed. This was a cool day and I got my fastest pass ever at 9.680 with a 1.443 60 foot time on my last pass. That was a single run because there weren't many racers there for some reason. It was a good day for drag racing and each pass got faster than the one before.

June 27 was test and tune at Pacific and my son was home on leave from Marine Corps so he got me on video using his phone. My first run, I probably didn't get the best burnout, but the second pass I smoked them a little too much and probably greased the tires. So I eased off on the burnouts after that. But my last run, I should have had little more burnout because I spun on the launch and had to ease off losing two or three tenths. My best pass of the day was a 9.729 against a parachute car but he had problems on the launch and drove down the track without going fast. I was looking forward to running a fast car and I was wondering what happened. That white Honda was having launch problems all day long. The last pass of the day was a really fast launch car but I caught him at the end and got the win light.
